During the period 12-14 of April 2019 in Gharb, Gozo, Malta, the second event of the project “Old Towns, New Results” took place.

12.04.2019 we started the second event of the project!


20 international participants from the partner countries attended to the event, namely: Victoria (Romania), Alimos Municipality (Greece), Cheste Municipality (Spain), San Cassiano Municipality (Italy), Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo Mesto (Slovenia) and PODES - Association for the Promotion of Sustainable Development (Portugal). The topic of this meeting was Euroscepticism.

On the first day – 12 of April the coordinator from Maltese side, Mark Causon, organized a seminar regarding the Euroscepticism. Here, the participants found out about the concept manifestation in Malta.


Moreover, some new changes in Malta allows the youngsters to vote starting at 16, as a measure for civic engagement. On the other side, each partner presented the Euroscepticism in their country and provided good or bad practice examples.

The hosts also took care of a sightseeing tour on the island of Gozo and a visit to the concert of their brass band, which took place in the city's church.
More than that, on the last day, the participants attended to “Infiorata”, an annual activity made in partnership with Italian entities in the Sunday before the Easter.
