October 4, 2021The seventh event took place online, organized by the Association for Developing Voluntary work Slovenian Novo Mesto in the 05 - 07 of July 2021 period.
05.07.2021 we started the 7th event of the project!
The seventh event should have taken place in the Slovenian town of Novo Mesto, 05 - 07 of July 2021 period.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic restriction the face to face meeting was transformed into an on-line one. 30 international participants from the partner countries attended to the online event, namely: Alimos Municipality (Greece), Cheste Municipality (Spain), Gharb Municipality (Malta) including mr. Mayor, David Apap, San Cassiano Municipality (Italy), Association for Developing Voluntary Work Novo Mesto (Slovenia) and PODES - Association for the Promotion of Sustainable Development (Portugal)..
The main aim of the project was to debate the future of Europe and to challenge Euroscepticism through actions that lights up the advantages of civic and democratic participation. The specific objectives of the project are:
- Challenge Euroscepticism among 10.000 EU citizens during the project;
- Raise awareness regarding EU decision making process, among 10.000 EU citizens, during the project;
- Fostering opportunities for societal and intercultural engagement among 10.000 EU citizens during the project;
- Setting up a sustainable cooperation network in which the 7 partners work in a common long-term perspective, share ideas, exchange experiences and good practices, during the project.
